GG Atlas

A practical tool workflow

How to use WARDOGS tools

WARDOGS tools can support preparation, navigation and shared planning. Start with the role your squad needs and the objective you intend to support. Calculators and maps are reference aids; they are not live battlefield intelligence or substitutes for coordinating in game.

Workflow reviewed

Start with the step you need. These are examples, not a ranking or a required tool stack. Listing details stay connected to current GG Atlas records; reachability is not proof of compatibility or safety.

Step 1

Choose your loadout

When: Before choosing a loadout for a particular role.

Compare equipment within a budget and consider what the squad already covers. Check the assumptions behind damage or ballistics data rather than choosing solely from a headline statistic.

  • MetaForge WARDOGSMobile app · Web

  • WARDOGS LabsWeb

  • WARDOGS FieldguideWeb

Step 2

Find the control zone

When: Before committing to an objective or approach route.

Use a map to agree on locations and fallback routes. Check what is reference data and what your team has actually observed; a tactical plan can become outdated as the situation changes.

  • wardogs.toolsWeb

WARDOGS database with equipment, vehicles, maps, progression, ballistics, loadouts, artillery planning, leaderboards, and server information.

  • WDGuideWeb

Independent WARDOGS field guide with equipment reference, interactive map, loadout planner, FOB planner, progression, logistics, and tactics guides.

Step 3

Coordinate your squad

When: When the squad wants a shared plan rather than separate notes.

Agree on simple role and location names before setting up a shared workspace. If a tool offers sign-in or shared rooms, check what it stores and who can see the plan.

  • wardogs.tipsWeb

WARDOGS loadout builder, artillery map, route and squad-note planner with optional Steam sign-in for shared squad features.

  • MetaForge WARDOGSMobile app · Web

Step 4

Plan fire support

When: When you need to plan fire support for a known target.

Check map, position and calculation inputs before using a result. Shared drawings or saved targets can help communication, but a calculator does not establish the target's present position.

  • WARDOGS Artillery CalculatorMobile app · Web

Open-source WARDOGS mortar and artillery calculator with tactical maps, drawings, saved targets, mobile support, and optional shared planning rooms.

  • wardogs.tipsWeb

Step 5

Build and defend a FOB

When: Before committing to a forward-base layout or supply plan.

Use a field guide or planner to compare the project's requirements. Check the actual site and available supplies in game before treating a diagram as a finished build.

  • WDGuideWeb

Independent WARDOGS field guide with equipment reference, interactive map, loadout planner, FOB planner, progression, logistics, and tactics guides.

  • WARDOGS WikiWeb

Community WARDOGS reference for weapons, equipment, vehicles, factions, maps, game modes, mechanics, guides, and updates.

Keep the workflow small

Choose one tool for the question in front of you. Open its record to check current requirements, disclosures and source links. Skip installs and account connections you do not need, and revisit version-dependent advice after a game update.

GG Atlas maintains the workflow text. Tool names, summaries and formats come from the live catalogue; unavailable examples can be removed without inventing a replacement. This is not a hands-on test of every tool.
