A practical tool workflow

How to use Once Human tools

For Once Human, begin with the scenario and project you are actually playing: a resource trip, a territory plan or a gear change. Map progress and build assumptions need to match that context. Add a companion only if its convenience is worth the setup and access it requires.

Workflow reviewed

Start with the step you need. These are examples, not a ranking or a required tool stack. Listing details stay connected to current GG Atlas records; reachability is not proof of compatibility or safety.

Step 1

Prepare to survive

When: When starting a scenario or checking what your equipment plan assumes.

Read the reference for the system you need, then check the intended scenario and version. A build example can rely on equipment and progression that are not available to you yet.

Step 2

Explore and collect

When: Before a trip to collect a particular resource or objective.

Filter a map to that goal and use your own progress as the source of truth. Review the distinction between browser, second-screen and overlay access before choosing a format.

Step 3

Build your territory

When: Before a territory or crafting project consumes a large material batch.

Look up the recipe and requirements, then compare the plan with your stored materials. Treat the reference as an input to your own project rather than proof of what is already in your inventory.

Step 4

Plan your gear

When: When comparing an achievable change to your equipment.

Use the same assumptions for each loadout and identify the equipment you can actually obtain. Keep a note of the version and scenario so you can revisit the comparison after an update.

Keep the workflow small

Choose one tool for the question in front of you. Open its record to check current requirements, disclosures and source links. Skip installs and account connections you do not need, and revisit version-dependent advice after a game update.

GG Atlas maintains the workflow text. Tool names, summaries and formats come from the live catalogue; unavailable examples can be removed without inventing a replacement. This is not a hands-on test of every tool.
